Recently, China Scholarship Council (CSC) announced the approved list of the second batch of winners of 2022 Innovative Talents International Cooperation Training Program. Four DUT-RU ISE students were awarded the funding of the "China-Japan Joint Healthcare Intelligent Computing International Elite Talents Training Program" to sponsor their upcoming study abroad. Undergraduate students Gao Yuhan, He Bo, and Wang Jia will go to the Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems of Waseda University to study for a Master's degree. Postgraduate student Wang Rui will go to the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology of Osaka University for postgraduate exchange.
This January, the “China-Japan Joint Healthcare Intelligent Computing International Elite Talents Training Program” we proposed was successfully approved by the CSC. Based on international cooperation with the Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems of Waseda University and Osaka University, the program focuses on core technologies such as smart chip, accurate diagnosis and treatment, and smart senior care. We try to integrate advantageous discipline resources from the three universities to cultivate international elites who can break through the key technical problems in the field of healthcare.
The successful approval and steady advancement of this program has funded outstanding students to study abroad. It is another successful practice of our cooperation with our partner universities in talent training. International Cooperative Innovative Talent Training Program is established as a response to the requirement of “innovating the system for government-sponsored overseas study and selected funded study” proposed by CSC in accordance with the National Education Plan. With the comprehensive reform in education, it aims at cultivating urgently needed innovative interdisciplinary talents with global vision. Utilizing the existing state-sponsored programs, it focuses on funding international cooperative programs between domestic universities and foreign educational and research institutions to build innovative training models and cultivate innovative talents.
