From 6th to 13th September, student delegation of Ritsumeikan University (RU) visited DUT and had an 8-day exchange visit. They fully experienced the "Schoolfellow Friendship" with the goal of "three sameness" — attending classes with same teachers, eating in the same dining hall, and staying on the same campus.

In the early autumn of Dalian with high sky and light cloud, DUT campus was full of vitality of the new semester.

On September 6th, the delegation visited the underwater robot laboratory and the geometric and multi-view synchronous image acquisition laboratory on the Development Zone campus of DUT, and took the lesson of "Digital Circuit and System Experiment" with DUT students.

On September 7th, the delegation attended a Chinese experience class especially prepared for them on the main campus. In a joyful and lively atmosphere, the TCSL teachers from School of International Education taught daily Chinese conversations to the students and the students were fully engaged and eager to try.

On September 8th, the delegation visited Dalian Neusoft University of Information and Nomura Research Institute (Beijing), Ltd. to experience the research atmosphere and corporate culture of China.

On September 11th and 12th, the delegation and DUT students attended four lectures organized by International School of Information Science & Software Engineering. The four lectures were given by Prof. Lin Lin, Deputy Dean of International School of Information Science & Software Engineering, Prof. Yin Chengjiu from Kyushu University, Assistant Prof. Zhao Yuting from Kyushu University, and Associate Prof. Sun Zhaohong from Kyushu University. Teachers and students from both sides got a lot from the in-depth communication.

On September 13th, the delegation attended the rubbing and tea ceremony experience class arranged by International School of Information Science & Software Engineering. They learned traditional Chinese culture, experienced rubbing-making, and appreciated Chinese tea culture.

RU student delegation’s visit to DUT was a vivid practice to show the style of International School of Information Science & Software Engineering, telling stories about DUT and China in the implementation of the “Schoolfellow Friendship” plan. RU students and DUT students took the same class, ate in the same dining hall, and had academic exchanges together, which have broadened their horizons, deepened their understanding, and enhanced their friendship.
